introduction to hand tool woodworking

free online tuition

The course consists of 8 in-depth videos, filmed in a tutorial style format that are available to view via my YouTube channel. The first four videos cover the initial ‘getting started’ processes, videos 5 - 8 are projects of increasing complexity.

Build notes and project plans to accompany the series are available to download for free via the ‘shop’ page.

Suited to either a newcomer, a power tool user looking to explore hand tools, or for the maker who is perhaps not getting the results they desire and would like some guidance. This course assumes no prior knowledge and through a series of detailed instructional videos will assist the maker in getting started. The methods I teach, once mastered, will allow the maker to achieve consistent, accurate results necessary to produce precise work.
